“Based on our relationship with David, he would never commit suicide! We believe it was an accident,” Smith said. “He was a very happy man who made more and more movies. It’s not in his character to kill himself.”
“We were told that his body was found by a hotel maid with a rope around his neck inside a wardrobe closet. An investigation continues.”
Carradine was in the midst of shooting his latest film and had missed a cast dinner the evening before he was found dead, further causing his friends and co-workers to wonder what had happened to the man they remembered as still being fully in love with his craft and life.
