Dakota Fanning Runs Away with Cherie Currie

In the new movie, The Runaways, Dakota Fanning plays the great Cherie Currie, lead vocalist for the iconic ‘70s rock band of the same name. So it’s only fitting that the actress and the legend are getting to hang out together during production. Hopefully Dakota has also been out to visit Cherie at her amazing chainsaw art studio. Yes – chainsaw art. Cherie has gone from being a rocker chick to a chainsaw chick.
The Runaways also stars Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett, the all girl band’s founding singer/guitarist.

The movie comes out early next years, just a few months after Kristen and Dakota light up the screen in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
