Curse, what curse?
X-Men Origins: Wolverine-- which was plagued by both on-line pirates and the swine flu - is in track to rake in $80 million dollars in its opening weekend.
Wolverine --starring Hugh Jackman -- opened to a $35 million box office on Friday, boosted by strong midnight showings on Thursday night. While the opening day didn’t break any records, it was a very solid opening day in the face of swine flu concerns that might have scared off some people in affected states from going to a crowded movie theater.

Industry experts say the movie will likely not match Iron Man’s nearly $100 Million opening weekend from last year, but Iron Man did not open in the face of a potential pandemic.
