French police are questioning the boyfriend of British actress Lucy Gordon who was found hanged inside her Paris flat.
Authorities originally ruled-out foul play in the death of the 28-year-old actress who played TV reporter Jennifer Dugan in Spider-Man 3, but now the case is under ‘judicial investigation’ after it emerged the couple were heard arguing on Tuesday night.
Her boyfriend – who has not been named an official suspect – claims he found her lifeless body the following morning before rushing to a local shop-keeper to get help.
Gordon had starred in several Hollywood movies alongside stars like Heath Ledger and Audrey Tautou and appeared to have everything to live for; her sudden death has shocked family and friends.
The couple lived in a $3500 a month two bedroom rented apartment in the bohemian 10th arrondissement of Paris on the Right Bank of The Seine.
Neighbors are helping detectives with their investigations and one has reportedly told them that they heard the pair fighting the night before her body was found.

The neighbor claimed: “It might not have been anything too serious, but they clearly weren’t getting on.”
An officer who attended the scene said that the circumstances were horrific as he witnessed Gordon’s lifeless body hanging from the ceiling inside the apartment.
As police continue to probe the incident an autopsy is due to take place to establish the exact cause of death. (Photo: Splash News)
