Illinois State Police confirmed to RadarOnline.com that an autopsy will be conducted Thursday afternoon on a body, recovered from the Des Plaines River Wednesday. That discovery has led some people to speculate the remains could be those of Stacy Peterson, the fourth wife of ex-Bolingbrook cop Drew Peterson.
The woman has been missing since Oct. 2007.
Police told RadarOnline.com they have not yet reached the stage where they can make any connection between the recovery and Peterson. The body, police said, will undergo DNA testing for identification purposes.
