The prime suspect in the tragic shooting of Atlanta rapper Dolla, signed to artist Akon's record label, has plead not guilty to assault with a fire arm.

Aubrey Berry, also an Atlanta native, was apprehended Wednesday at Los Angeles International Airport, matching a physical description of Dolla's assailant and allegedly carrying a handgun in his waistband.

Dolla, 21, was shot in the head at the entrance to a parking garage at LA's the Beverly Center. Berry is currently being held on $5 million bail, with a review hearing scheduled for this Tuesday.
