Shocking new details are emerging about David Hasselhoff's trip to the hospital Saturday for alcohol poisoning.

RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that when Hasselhoff was found by his daughter Hayley, 16, she began slapping him to wake him up. He was so drunk that he was foaming at the mouth, a symptom of alcohol poisoning.

The Hoff's camp is desperately trying to downplay the incident but sources close to the situation are now releasing even more details because they believe the Hoff will die if he doesn't admit what really happened and get help for his chronic alcohol problem. His blood alcohol level was more than four times the legal limit of .08 and yet his representatives refuse to admit how drunk he was and, bizarrely, are pointing fingers at his ex-wife Pamela Bach!

RadarOnline.com has confirmed that Hasselhoff spent more than 12 hours at the hospital, was hooked upto a heart monitor and had an IV in his arm. In terms of his reps assertion that he walked to the car under his own power? Not quite. Because Pamela and Hayley couldn't carry him, they put his arms around their shoulders and basically dragged him to the car.

The reason they didn't call 911? They didn't want the story to break in the media and everyone to realize how severe the Hoff's problems are. (Photo: Splash News)
