Rob Pattinson Hits Up the Premiere of Inglourious Basterds

Robert Pattinson walked the red carpet on Wednesday afternoon in Cannes, France for the premiere of Quentin Tarantino's WWII flick Inglourious Basterds. The notoriously scruffy star cleaned up nice for the event--giving the film's sexy lead, Brad Pitt, a run for his money.

Pattinson doesn't appear in the movie, but will clock lots of big-screen time in the coming year. On Tuesday, the British actor announced that he was signed on for Breaking Dawn, the fourth film in the Twilight series, and he will soon shoot the high-drama romance Remember Me.
After the screening, Pattinson ditched his suit for a leather jacket and joined celebs from Dita Von Teese to Paris Hilton at the Dsquared cocktail party.
