If you’re looking for a quality set of earphones for your iPhone, more expensive is not necessarily better.
The proof is in the form of Radius Atomic Bass Earphones ($49.99) for iPhone (works with older models and 3G). Our experience left us with the opinion that the Radius belongs in the company of other earphones that are much more expensive. And if you’re wondering why not just use the set that comes with the phone, once you plug these into your ears you won’t ask that question anymore.
Designed with a unique shape that fits all ears (we don’t know about anyone else’s ear, but they were comfortable in ours!), these earphones come with three sizes of interchangeable buds and delivered clear sound quality. We also greatly appreciated the built-in mic with remote, allowing us to easily access the key functions of call, play, stop and skip. No need for a separate hands-free accessory.
The convenience of being able to use the built-in remote and call answer clicker while the iPhone remains in your pocket is a huge plus. Listening to music? The bass response is smooth, but not overwhelming.
The Atomic Bass are not only compatible with the iPhone but also work with Macbook Pro, iPod Touch 2G, Blackberry Storm, Blackberry Bold and the Samsung Instinct.
