Like Austria's Minister of Justice is going to miss the opportunity to meet Pam Anderson?
Anderson, in the republic for the annual Life Ball AIDS benefit, had a private meeting with the Austria's Minister of Justice, Claudia Bandion-Ortner, about the government’s harassment of animal activists. According to reports, Austrian authorities have attempted to use organized crime laws to suppress animal groups.
After a public letter that PETA pal Pam Anderson wrote made the newspapers over there, the minister -- who has refused to meet with any animal activists -- agreed to the meeting. Anderson, according to reports, presented the minister with copies of inconclusive police reports, and told her Minister her country's persecution towards activists rivals that of China. After a reportedly cordial meeting the minister took a photo with the Baywatch beauty.
