After a public letter that PETA pal Pam Anderson wrote made the newspapers over there, the minister -- who has refused to meet with any animal activists -- agreed to the meeting. Anderson, according to reports, presented the minister with copies of inconclusive police reports, and told her Minister her country's persecution towards activists rivals that of China. After a reportedly cordial meeting the minister took a photo with the Baywatch beauty.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Desperate Housewives diva Eva Longoria and pop star Katy Perry also attended the function.
