Mike Tyson has spoken out regarding the tragic death of his four-year-old daughter Exodus Tyson.
"We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers from all over the world. There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus," Tyson said in a statement to RadarOnline.com.
"We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal."
Exodus was taken to a Phoenix, AZ hospital at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, after her older brother Miguel discovered her hanging from a cord attached to a treadmill.
In a statement, a Phoenix Police department rep said, "I was just advised by investigators that Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 AM today at the hospital. Our sympathies go out to the family."
Tyson is said to have flown directly to Arizona from Las Vegas after getting word of the incident, which police called a "tragic accident."
