Swimming superstar Michael Phelps is slated to being competing again next week following a three-month suspension from US Swimming after photos of the octo-gold medalist smoking marijuana at a South Carolina party were published online.
Phelps will compete in his first official competition since the 2008 Olympics in Beijing at this weekend's UltraSwim in Charlotte, North Carolina.
"I'm happy to be back in the water and be back in semi-shape," Phelps told the Associated Press. "I'm sort of getting back into racing shape and getting ready to race my first race since Beijing. We'll see how it goes."
