Kara DioGuardi Outs Adam Lambert On The View

American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi said on The View Friday she doesn't think runner-up Adam Lambert, who has never stated his sexuality publicly, has ever been 'in the closet'.

"I don't think that Adam was ever in the closet," she said of the talented 27-year-old vocalist, known for his screeching tones and eyeliner. "I think he was always openly out."

When host Barbara Walters asked her if his shocking loss could have been connected to his perceived sexual preferences, DioGuardi said, "I hope not. Because we should be judging on talent and viability in the music industry, and they both had that." (Photo: WENN)
