IDOL: Allison Iraheta Goes Out Like A Rock Star
May 7 2009, Published 10:11 a.m. ET
Allison Iraheta's spirited run on American Idol came to an end on Wednesday result's show, as viewers cast the least amount of votes for the 17-year-old from Los Angeles.
The teen -- whose bluesy, soulful performances established her as a legitimate contender to the crown -- left the show in tears via the audience in her last hurrah.
The teen's elimination makes for an all-male trio of finalists: Adam Lambert, the flamboyant 27-year-old actor from Los Angeles; Danny Gokey, the 29-year-old everyman from Milwaukee; and Kris Allen, a handsome 23-year-old Arkansas college student.
