EXCLUSIVE: Pamela Bach on Hasselhoff: Alcoholism is a Baffling Disease
May 14 2009, Published 10:23 a.m. ET
Their divorce was a real-life War Of The Roses, but Pamela Bach says of ex-husband David Hasselhoff: "The only thing I can say is that he's the father of my children, and I will always love and respect that."
RadarOnline.com talked exclusively with Bach on the red carpet of Maxim's Hot 100 party in Santa Monica on Wednesday night.
As RadarOnline.com was first to report earlier this month, the former Baywatch star was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on May 2 after suffering severe alcohol poisoning.
Sources tell RadarOnline.com his blood alcohol level was more than four times the legal limit!
Sadly, his daughter Hayley, 16, found him unconscious on the floor of his home in Encino, California and called her mother, who lives 10 minutes away in the Hollywood Hills. Bach rushed to the rescue and drove Hoff to the hospital where doctors yet again saved his life.
Bach told RadarOnline.com that alcoholism is "a very cunning and baffling disease."

Two years ago, Hasselhoff first admitted to being an alcoholic after a shocking home video surfaced of him, showing him drunk and eating a cheesburger on the floor. It was shot by his then 16-year-old daughter Taylor.
After RadarOnline.com first broke the news of Hasselhoff's relapse, his camp tried to deny the seriousness of the situation, but sources close to the situation say Hoff has been treated for alcohol poisoning at hospitals more than five times.
