EXCLUSIVE: Injured Idol Stage Manager Returning For Finale
May 14 2009, Published 7:10 a.m. ET
Debbie Williams -- the stage manager for American Idol who was thrown from the stage last week during rehearsals -- is speaking out about her injuries for the first time, and only to RadarOnline.com.
Now that the stage is set for Idol's big singing showdown next week, (link to today's story about It's Adam vs Kris ) we asked Williams when she will be returning to the show.
She emailed us saying: "TODAY ...going in to prep Finale. No I am not a "sitting" kind of person.....so it's been a challenge!
I am going to buy a new pair of my fave jeans...since the other ones, got cut off of me by the paramedic.....what was he thinking? They were soaked in blood (2 pints to be exact)...they could have easily been rolled (squirm now).
I am doing really well....thank you. Stitches are a wonderful thing, considering the many alternatives! I heal very fast.......something people have a hard time understanding....but it's me! "
