An American Idol stage manager host Ryan Seacrest identified as his "right hand" was injured Tuesday during rehearsal for this week's rock music-themed episode.
The crew member was "immediately taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure," according to Fox. RadarOnline.com has learned the stage's manager's name is Debbie Williams, and on her Facebook page, she writes:
"I am home from an interesting day and my attempt to be a stunt woman...it didn't work! 50 stitches, nothing broken (must be the body padding...thank God I've only been on "Jenny Craig" one week). Falling 14 feet is was a new experience and we all know how I love new experiences......well maybe not this one... so much."Seacrest discussed the incident on his Twitter page Tuesday.
