Jon Eardley, the lawyer who claims he once represented Britney Spears, is appealing a three-year restraining order the singer obtained against him, according to court papers filed Wednesday.
Eardley also filed papers objecting to paying for attorney's fees incurred by Britney's estate while getting the restraining order granted. A hearing has been set for May 29th to determine if Eardley or Sam Lutfi will be ordered to pay Brit's legal team's bills.

Eardley states in court docs that he shouldn't be lumped in with Lutfi. The papers say: "The court will recall that the bulk of the witnesses were called with respect to Lutfi. The investigation substantially focused on Mr. Lutfi."
Finger-pointing aside, both Lutfi and Eardley must stay away from Britney and her two children for the next three years.
