Britney Spears Plays Bridesmaid in Louisiana

Rounding out a weekend of family time, Britney Spears surfaced after a Bahamian trek with her boys at a wedding for her cousin Laura Lynne Covington.

In Amite, La., Britney served as bridesmaid to Covington, walked down the isle by her brother Brian Spears.'

Sister Jamie Lynn was on hand as well, another lady in waiting for the bride, and brought along her infant Maddie.

First United Methodist Church hosted the ceremony, followed by a reception where reports say Britney was low-key and composed.

The singer is currently on brief hiatus from her Circus Tour, set to resume June 3 in London.
