Jay Leno is feeling better, NBC said, but will take off Friday's show to rest.
Leno missed his first show in 17 years Thursday after he checked into into Burbank's Providence St. Joseph Medical Center for observation after he fell ill, his rep, Dick Guttman, told RadarOnline.com. Guttman said Leno's ailment was "mild."
"Jay Leno is doing just fine," the network tells RadarOnline.com. "He was kidding around with the hospital staff and running his monologue jokes by the doctors and the nurses. He's expected back to work on Monday."
