He's played two of Britain's most famous names -- journalist David Frost and former prime minister Tony Blair -- and will now step into a role that will surely set him up with a whole new audience. Veteran actor Michael Sheen has signed on to play Aro, the leader of an Italian vampire clan called the Volturi in New Moon, the second installment of the Twilight series.
"Michael's role is so important because he's the head of all vampires," the director Chris Weitz confirmed over the weekend. “Aro is, on the surface, a very gracious and friendly vampire, but beneath that he is a tremendous threat.”
Sheen, besides the new immense fan base, is also set to make $10 million for his role. (Photo: WENN)
