The day after portions of his April 6 appearance on The Tyra Banks Show were released, Levi Johnston is feeling the wrath of his ex future mother-in-law Sarah Palin. Johnston, who split with Palin’s daughter Bristol earlier this year, dropped some bombs on the daytime talk show saying the couple’s child Tripp was conceived despite practicing safe sex and that Palin knew the young couple was having sex.

The Alaskan governor didn’t take the allegations lying down. "Bristol did not even know Levi was going on the show. We're disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention, and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship," a rep for the family said in a statement. "Bristol's focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence."

"It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child. Bristol realizes now that she made a mistake in her relationship and is the one taking responsibility for their actions."

The couple, who met in high school, was expected to marry after they finished school and was raising their two-month old son together. They broke up in February.
