Rihanna Wants Bling Back from Brown Incident

As if Rihanna's Grammy weekend nightmare wasn't messy enough, there's still a $1.4 million loose end--the extravagant loaned jewels she was wearing during the ordeal.
Reports say the 20-year-old singer released three rings and a pair of earrings to the LAPD, as evidence in the assault case pending for ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
Now likely devoid of any emotional attachment, the problem remains that Rihanna doesn't own the baubles. In attempts to get them back for return to loaners, her attorney Donald Etra filed written requests for police to release the goods on April 7, then again on April 17.

The pieces are a mix of gold-toned metals and white and green gemstones, clocking in at almost one-and-a-half million dollars.
While the LAPD could not be reached for comment, reports say they have yet to respond to Etra's requests.
