Mysterious Web sites, secret sources, clandestine meetings - they're all part of the intrigue surrounding the First Family's new pooch, a Portugese Water Dog.
The 6-month-old pup was a gift from Senator Ted Kennedy, and the White House was hoping to keep it a secret until Tuesday. But those plans were scuttled as news-- some accurate, some not - leaked within the past few days.

The Washington Post reports the dog is named Bo and had a secret meeting with the Prez and family a few weeks ago. Apparently Bo was a big hit because he's now officially a member of the family!
