An online sneak preview for next month's blockbuster Wolverine confirms suspicions that the film will be one of this summer's blockbuster hits.  The movie, directed by Gavin Hood, features incredible visual elements and a star-studded cast including Hugh Jackman, Liev Schriber, Taylor Kitsch and Ryan Reynolds.

"My whole life, I've felt like an animal — but I've ignored my instincts," Jackman's character, Logan, said in the preview. "I ignored what I really am. But that will never happen again." Following is an exhilarating sequence featuring this summer's superhero fighting evil atop helicopters, motorcycles and exploding vehicles.  Other previews in the video focus on the secondary characters in the film including Sabretooth (Schreiber), Gambit (Kitsch), and Wade Wilson (Reynolds).

Reynolds, whose last action flick was the vampire flick Blade: Trinity will play acid-tongued assassin Wilson. The Canadian actor told Web site Monstersandcritics.com that squeamish fans should brace for his character's on-screen wrath.

"You're not going to see Kill Bill-style blood geysering up from severed heads!," Reynolds told the Web site. "But I think you're going to see a kind of violence that's a little more brutal, rugged and ugly. Which is one of the things I liked about it."
