Madonna Nabs $40 million NYC Townhouse

While it hasnt been a banner week for acquisitions in her world, Madonna forges on making a new home for her family sans ex-husband Guy Ritchie.
Madge is dropping anchor in Manhattan's swanky Upper East Side, where she and children Lourdes, Rocco and David will have a $40 million dollar Georgian townhouse to call home.
The property, located on East 81st street, boasts 13 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, nine fireplaces, an elevator, wine cellar, two-car garage and a 3,000 square foot garden.
Thats tons of room for Lourdes expanding leggings collection and perhaps any new additions that may come Madonnas way.
The New York Post indicates that Madge has planned extensive renovation and security upgrades before the home is suitable to move in.
