Pop queen Madonna was taken to a hospital after being thrown off a horse in the Hamptons on Saturday.

Madge went horseback riding Saturday afternoon at the Hamptons compound of friend and photographer Steven Klein when a nasty tumble off her horse lead to a visit to Southampton Hospital. She was treated for minor injuries and released.

In the celebrity vacation spot with sons Rocco and David, Madonna’s horse was jumping hurdles when she took the fall, prompting a team of ten bystanders to rush to her aid -- including boytoy Jesus Luz.

Her spokesperson said a hiding photog startled Madonna's horse when he jumped up to get a picture.

The New York Post reported the story first.

"The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer who was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island over the weekend," said Madonna’s rep.

The Post says Madonna walked out of the hospital on her own and hopped into a waiting SUV.

Three years ago, Madonna suffered an even worse fall, cracking several ribs after being thrown from her horse on the English country estate she shared with now ex-husband Guy Richie.
