Farrah Fawcett has been released after spending a week in the hospital. Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that her son Redmond, currently in jail, will appear in court tomorrow and request to be admitted to rehab.

RadarOnline.com was first to report that Farrah was hospitalized in the Los Angeles area. She has been battling anal cancer, which her doctor says has now metastasized to her liver. Despite her fighting spirit, the survival rate for metastasized liver cancer is extremely low, according to official statistics.

Meanwhile, sources tell RadarOnline.com that she is aware her son has been jailed again on drug charges and is extremely upset. Redmond was arrested Saturday while trying to visit a friend in jail. Police found heroin on him.

Redmond's father Ryan O'Neal has refused to bail out his son and at first nobody wanted to stress Farrah as she waged her cancer battle, but eventually she was told about Redmond.

Redmond's attorney will ask a judge in LAX municipal court Friday morning to release Redmond into rehab.

We have also learned that Ryan is not planning to attend his son's court hearing.
