Cocktail waitress/aspiring model Scheana Jancan is the latest beauty linked to John Mayer by various reports, and RadarOnline.com has discovered she was involved in a major lawsuit against Hooters in 2004.  The suit was filed after it was discovered that a manager at the West Covina, CA restaurant had been videotaping and photographing women as they changed into their work uniforms.

Jancan and more than 50 other plaintiffs were represented by high-profile attorney Gloria Allred.  RadarOnline.com asked Allred on Thursday about the status of the lawsuit, and she told us while the case has been resolved, she could not discuss it further.

Now the big question is: is Jancan --a beautiful brunette much like John's ex Jennifer Aniston  -- Mayer's new lady love?  There's buzz that the two have been spending time together, following his split from the Friends star.

Jancan confirmed to RadarOnline.com  that she met Mayer last year. However, she was less forthcoming when we asked whether the two were dating. "John and I are friends and that's all I'm gonna say," said the 23-year-old.
