EXCLUSIVE: Chris Brown To Plead Not Guilty Today

UPDATE: at 3:20 pt Chris Brown arrived at court in downtown Los Angeles. Wearing a black cardigan and escorted by at least a dozen police, bodyguards, his lawyer and his mother, who looked visibly upset. Chris is expected to plead Not Guilty to two felony charges..

Brown, 19, is charged with assault and making criminal threats in connection with the alleged beating of his pop star girlfriend Rihanna last February. A source exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that while Brown wants to resolve the situation, he will plead not guilty.

The couple seemed to reconcile in late February, reuniting on a trip to Miami. In recent weeks however, the two have been taking a break from one another and have retreated to their separate corners: Brown to his home state of Virginia and Rihanna to her native country Barbados.
