Her ex Raffaello Follieri will forever be a running joke for his business swindling and smarmy looks, but Anne Hathaway is committed to moving past all of that and moving on. The actress quickly found solace in fellow actor Adam Shulman. While the now-bearded beau is very much a mystery, a former colleague of Shulman shed some light on how an unknown could possibly capture the attention of one of Hollywood’s leading ladies.
“He’s got that charming, endearing quality,” casting director Scott David told RadarOnline.com about Shulman’s appeal. David cast Shulman in the 2007 film The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning.
“He’s adorable, he’s a great guy,” David continued. “Really cool and genuine.”
The couple have been spotted cozying up together from A- list events like the Palm Springs festival to cuter spots like the streets of Venice, Calif., where they recently spent an afternoon shopping.

Though he’s not quite raking in box office dough, Shulman, 27, has been working steadily on his craft. The Brown University graduate has two theatre programs under his belt, a stint at New York University’s Tisch School, and a handful of TV credits to his name.
