Trying to turn a negative into a positive, DoSomething.org (a teen-empowering group co-founded by Melrose Place star Adnrew Shue) has put out an online PSA re-enacting the alleged Feb. 8 incident between Chris Brown and Rihanna.

“It’s something that we heard from our wide network from teens, we listen when they speak, and they wanted to do something about this issue,” DoSomething.org Jonathan Schilit explained to RadarOnline.com.

The video begins with a warning that it contains “graphic images of teen dating abuse” and is “based on actual detective notes”. It then shows two white actors in a car re-enacting Brown and Rihanna’s incident when he allegedly punched, bit, and choked her. As the two actors run through the dramatization, a somber male voice narrates the film by re-reading the actual LAPD report of the incident.

It ends with the words: “Mad. So Something about It.” After noting that one in three teens are abused in relationships, the video urges watchers to order special black or blue bracelets to help raise awareness.

Brown, 19, has been charged with two felony counts, assault and making criminal threats <> , and is due back in court on April 6.
