She may have at least ten years under her relationship belt with current husband Matthew Broderick, but Sarah Jessica Parker still has an eye for quality men.
“I think Englishmen live up to all the ideals,” Parker said while promoting her new Lovely line of perfume. “Hugh Grant is a perfect example.”
Parker couldn’t help gush over her next co-star (they’re in an unnamed romantic comedy about an estranged couple in the witness protection program).
'He’s a definition for all of us less well-travelled Americans of the classic literary and cinematic Englishman – witty and brainy. There’s nothing smarter and sexier and more interesting than a brain, and I’m very excited about working with him.”
She was also open about the being named Maxim’s Unsexiest Woman two years ago.
“All of us have insecurities, everybody I know, regardless of their physical presence or intellect,” she admits. “It’s what makes you empathetic and what makes you connect with other people."

When asked about whether the title changed the way she viewed herself, Parker answered flatly: "I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about what to change. There are things we all have that we would like to work on, and I have a list of things that I could do better in my life. But as for the physical attributes, or lack of, I think a lot about how to be a better person instead. Better wife, better mother, better friend. Those I work on.”
Sounds like she still has that Carrie Bradshaw bite in her! And what about a sequel to the Sex and the City movie? “We are figuring out what is best for the audience and the franchise.”
