New Details on Mariska Hargitay's Hospitalization

While production of Law & Order: SVU is expected to continue unaffected by star Mariska Hargitay's recent hospitalization, a set source shares with RadarOnline.com how the show regrouped after her departure.
At the location at W. 113th Street in Harlem, Hargitay was scheduled to film three scenes on Wednesday but was rushed to the hospital that morning. The show writer frantically rewrote the script to give her lines to Ice-T who plays Detective Fin Tutoalo.

"They managed to stay on schedule today thanks to Ice-T taking her lines," says the source. "But they're going to have to begin major re-writing in the script if she's out for more than another day or two!"
Her rep confirms that Hargitay is currently "undergoing routine tests and expects to be feeling better soon."
