Who? You know, that guy from Saturday Night Live. Admittedly, one of the most raucous (read: fun) movie awards, this year the MTV Movie Awards will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, Sunday May 31st. (Nominees will be announced in the coming weeks.)
Past Movie Awards hosts have included Ben Stiller, Jimmy Fallon, Mike Myers and Justin Timberlake. Known for its unconventional categories -Best Kiss, Best Villain, Best Action Sequence- and for surprise bits, as when a presumably stoned band member climbed the set and celebs routinely bag each other.

"I'm super excited to host the movie awards," Samberg said in a statement. "I grew up watching the show and a lot of the past hosts are heroes of mine. Plus, my friends in the Lonely Island troupe and I were writers for the show prior to working at 'SNL,' so it will be a sweet and satisfying homecoming. I can't wait to act really important."
In addition to Samberg's four seasons on "SNL," he's just released “Incredibad” his first full-length comedy album and stars in the upcoming Paul Rudd comedy "I Love You Man." (Check back here on Friday for a review of the movie.)
