Jimmy Fallon Takes Criticism in Stride

Give the guy a break. Stepping into the formidable shoes of Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon may have had his share of ups and downs during his Late Night debut, and his share of not-so-stellar reviews, but at least the funny man is cutting himself a bit of slack.
"I read some reviews. They were fair." he admitted on Twitter. He even wanted more (constructive) criticism, asking his followers to send in their comments as well.

Fallon has been enjoying a generous outpouring of support from the comedic community. Before he hit the air, O'Brien gave him the three foot giant pickle that has been traditionally passed on from host to host. After the show, Jay Leno gave him a call and Craig Ferguson sent him a funny gift.
During his premiere run, Fallon was able to pull in some big name guests like Justin Timberlake and Robert De Niro and his opening monologue with musical accompaniment from his house band The Roots was ripe to become instant YouTube fodder.
