Even though Lindsay Lohan has a warrant for her arrest for allegedly violating probation, a source tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that Lohan was simply changing her alcohol program.
"Lindsay simply wants to change her alcohol program, and notified the court that she was leaving her current program," says the source. "Lindsay's intent is simply to change programs rather than not attend them at all".
According to the source, the actress must currently attend the class once a week and she wants to change, "because it's just not a good fit."
Lohan's legal team --headed by Shawn Holly Chapman -- has been in ongoing conversations with the LAPD, Beverly Hills Police Department, and the district attorney.
"There is a new judge in department 2 in Beverly Hills-Judge Revelle," the source says. "There is tremendous confidence that the judge will recognize it's not important for Lindsay to appear."
