A swarm of media has gathered outside Los Angeles Superior Court in downtown L.A. where R&B singer Chris Brown is expected to appear in court sometime today on allegations he beat his girlfriend Rihanna.

A source at the courthouse tells our reporter on the scene that Brown may not appear until the afternoon.

Brown is expected to face felony charges and the case is expected to be continued, a source close to the case tells RadarOnline.com. As RadarOnline.com was first to report, the case has been turned over to the L.A. County district attorney's office.

Brown was arrested February 8th on suspicion of criminal threats and is free on $50,000 bail. Prosecutors have not charged him, but he must return to court as part of his bail release. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office declined to say when or if Brown would be charged.

Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com has obtained exclusive photos inside the car where the alleged attack occurred. You can see Rihanna's blood stains splattered on the interior.
