When you are Britney Spears and have a blockbuster tour and a career comeback on your shoulders, it’s no surprise you might want to indulge in some hard-earned retail therapy.

Spears dropped over twelve hundred dollars Wednesday while shopping at the GUESS? store at the Short Hills Mall in New Jersey.  The sales girl that helped Spears Diana Salvatore tells RadarOnline.com that the singer was " in such a good mood and was dancing around in the fitting room."

Salvatore also said that Spears not only spent beaucoup bucks, but also walked out of the store wearing one of her new purchases, a black number with 3/4 sleeves.  Accompanied by her mother Lynne and a bodyguard, she spent about forty minutes in the store and was really sweet and cutesy with the sales staff.  When it came time to pay, Spears handed over her Amex card and befitting a megastar: "she didn't flinch, she just handed it over."

Salvatore couldn’t help rooting for her famous customer: "I really hope she's doing good.  Her body was slammin' and she is skinnier in real life!"
