Britney Responds to Circus Crewmember Arrests

Britney Spears is distancing herself from Rockey Dickey, Jr. and Alex Montes, two workers on her Circus tour who were arrested Wednesday night. RadarOnline.com reported earlier that the pair was involved in a violent scuffle with police in Pittsburgh, PA. Both men were widely reported to be touring crew members on Spears’ latest tour, but in an official statement on www.britneyspears.com, the singer distanced herself from the duo and reassured fans that they are no longer working under her big top.
“Last night two employees of a company contracted to provide equipment for The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour were arrested in Pittsburgh, PA,” Britney’s team wrote on the singer’s official blog on Thursday. “However, neither of the men involved are employees of the tour or Ms. Spears. The two individuals have since been dismissed by their employer. The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour does not support or tolerate this type of behavior.”
Kudos to Spears—who is currently prepping for her Friday night performance in Pittsburgh—for cracking the whip on these out-of-line antics.
