24 Goes Green

The hit TV series 24 is doing their part to save the world - literally! The show is the first television production to become carbon neutral.
A year ago, Fox and Imagine Entertainment announced their plan to cut the hit's carbon footprint and now they've far exceeded the goal.
How'd they do it? Based on season seven, they measured out the greenhouse gas impact and made on-set improvements like:

- Replacing incandescent with compact fluorescent lighting
-Encouraging staff to turn off all electrical equipment when not in use.
-Using hybrid vehicles.
-Sending scripts, schedules, etc electronically
