Ubisoft is designing a Gold's Gym workout game for the Wii and its weight-measuring balance board.

"We are excited to partner with Ubisoft on our first videogame," said Gold's Gym exec Lisa Zoellner. "It is in line with our mission to get more people around the world excited about exercise and fitness."

According to Kotaku, Gold's Gym: Cardio Workout will give players a "personal training experience," including cardio boxing, running, sit-ups, as well as tracking burned calories.

The game will also have a number of training modes, fitness levels, and increasing difficulty.

"In order to provide an authentic Gold's Gym experience the game will incorporate gym signage and dialogue into the game," added Ubisoft exec Tony Key.

Gold's Gym: Cardio Workout will be released on March 31.
