Street Fighter Star Had A 'Blast'

American Pie star Chris Klein is about to take a major career leap -- literally.
The 29 year-old actor plays police officer Charlie Nash in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, which opens today. Smallville actress Kristen Kreuk costars.
Klein says it was not an easy shoot.
"There was so much noise and so much going on. It comes off really good on screen," he told Kotaku.com. He remembered one particularly dangerous stunt where his only direction was "Don't get hurt."

Street Fighter first appeared in videogame arcades in 1987, introducing the archetypal fighting game hero Ryu and spawning a seemingly endless series of sequels for home consoles beginning with Super Nintendo.
