Slumdog A Flop On eBay

Even eBay is reflecting the general box office malaise with the Best Picture Oscar nominees.
Take Slumdog Millionaire, for example, which is the odds-on favorite to take home the award. A low, low number of products associated with the flick have been sold -- just 297. And the average price for these items is just $13.73.
The most anyone has paid for a memento from the flick is a poster signed by director Danny Boyle and costars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto. And that went for just $304.

The highest price paid on eBay for any Oscar-related film item this year is a shirt worn by Best Actress nominee Angelina Jolie in The Changeling, which sold for $2,000.
As for the most popular among the nominees, no surprise there. Bat-fans have bought 5,707 Best Supporting Actor nominee Heath Ledger items for an average of around $20.
