Former Beatles legend and knight-of-the-realm Paul McCartney has a surprisingly humble view of the band's contribution to the world of music.

"I think it's fine," McCartney said backstage at the Grammys, according to Billboard. "I'm kind of amazed we did it, because we were kids."

The favorite among all the songs he wrote? "Yesterday," of which he says, "I woke up one morning, and I had dreamed it. I don't know where it came from."
