It was all smiles and high fives when J.D. Fortune won the Rockstar: INXS competition, the CBS reality show that made him the new lead singer of the famed band.
Now, 3 years later, the 35 year-old frontman is penniless and living in his car in his native Canada.
Admitting that his newfound celebrity drove him to use cocaine, Fox News quotes him as saying, "I was in an airport at Hong Kong and literally got a handshake. They said, 'Thank you very much.'
