R&B singer David Banner has got the courtroom blues - he's being sued by Davenport Lyons for breach of oral contract. The suit alleges that Banner entered into an oral agreement with Davenport Lyons, a partnership, that would provide legal and other professional services for Banner.

The court docs state, "Defendants were to play Plaintiff a specified fee for those legal services and other professional services." Payment was not made, says Davenport Lyons, which is seeking more than $43,000 in damages and attorney's fees.

The most interesting part of the suit is that Banner's real name is Lavell Crump.
