New Honor For Idol Alum

(Photo: Splash News Online) American Idol alumnus David Archuleta will sing the National Anthem this Sunday at the NFL Pro Bowl.
According to People, the 18 year-old singer blogged: "It'll be my first time in Hawaii! Woot woot! That means more sunshine."
Archuleta really enjoyed seeing Jennifer Hudson, another Idol veteran,' singing 'The Star Spangled Banner' before the Super Bowl.
"I called my friend to listen to Jennifer Hudson sing the National Anthem over the phone lol," wrote the singer. "It was so good! Jennifer has pipes! I watched it on YouTube later."

Archuleta, who was the Idol season 7 runner-up, will be starting on his 20-city solo tour in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on February 24.
