Mickey Rourke's beloved Chihauhau Loki has died at the ripe old age of 18. Rourke's passion for pooches became well known to the world when he famously thanked his dogs when he accepted the Golden Globe for Best Actor last month.
"I'd like to thank all my dogs, the ones who are here and the ones who aren't here anymore. Sometimes, when a man is alone, that's all you got is your dog. And they've meant the world to me." Rourke later told Barbara Walters:

"I sort of self-destructed and everything came out about fourteen years ago or so...the wife had left, the career was over, the money was not an ounce," he said. "The dogs were there when no one else was there."
In January, Rourke posed with another of his dogs, a Chihuahua named JAWS, for a new spay and neuter ad for PETA.
