Actually, Michelle Obama will be appearing on the cover of Vogue magazine, only the second First Lady in history to do that.
Hillary Rodham Clinton was the first, having been featured on the cover of Vogue, which was in December of 1998.
Obama was photographed by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz at the Hay-Adams Hotel, which is across the park from the White House. It's where the Obamas stayed prior to the Inauguration.
